Addressing public grievances during an administrative tour of Cuddalore district, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin announced a substantial package of transformative infrastructural and social welfare initiatives. To generate localized manufacturing employment, Stalin unveiled plans to establish a non-leather footwear and component industrial park at Kodukkanpalayam, while creating a modern skill development center and industrial estate at Kooduveli Chavadi following representations from legislators representing marginalized communities.
Enhancing educational access, the Chief Minister sanctioned a new residential school for tribal children at Arisiperiyankuppam to ensure quality learning for underserved forest communities. To alleviate urban traffic congestion in the temple town of Chidambaram, Stalin announced a link bypass road constructed alongside the Thillai Amman Odai and Khan Sahib Canal. Addressing long-standing agricultural demands, he officially included Srimushnam taluk within the fertile Cauvery delta zone, extending specialized agrarian protections. In addition, eco-tourism and desilting works were sanctioned from Chozhadharathinam to Rajamathagu.
Stalin affirmed that every citizen petition submitted to his office receives prompt, compassionate administrative resolution. He concluded that these targeted investments will drive balanced industrialization, employment growth, and social equity throughout Cuddalore district.
