Overseeing a multi-departmental administrative event, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated several modern public infrastructure projects, laid major institutional foundation stones, and unveiled progressive state welfare policies. Stalin inaugurated newly constructed administrative buildings for the Police, Fire and Rescue Services, and Prisons and Correctional Services departments, alongside specialized forensic narcotic testing laboratory facilities designed to bolster scientific criminal investigations and curb illicit drug networks across Tamil Nadu.
Marking a major infrastructural expansion, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for the modern Madurai Central Prison complex, sanctioned at a capital investment of 229.20 crore rupees. Concurrently, Stalin officially released the landmark Tamil Nadu State Policy for Transgender Persons 2025 formulated by the Social Welfare and Women Empowerment department to institutionalize civil rights, personal security, and livelihood opportunities for transgender individuals. Stalin also opened newly bifurcated sub-registrar offices in Navalur and Kelambakkam, while distributing formal appointment orders to newly recruited typists and administrative personnel in TASMAC.
Stalin concluded that upgrading law enforcement infrastructure while expanding progressive civil rights exemplifies the humane, balanced, and inclusive developmental ethos of Dravidian Model governance across Tamil Nadu.
