Inaugurating the Nalam Kaakkum Stalin public healthcare initiative across the state, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin affirmed that quality education and comprehensive healthcare constitute the two watchful eyes guiding the policy framework of Dravidian Model governance. Stalin stated that safeguarding citizen wellness is a fundamental governmental duty, urging the public to actively participate in the special medical screening camps organized throughout municipal and rural localities to assess their physical health and receive expert clinical care free of cost.

The Chief Minister explained that the Nalam Kaakkum Stalin camps are structured to provide early diagnosis and preventive medical interventions for a wide spectrum of non-communicable and chronic diseases, including hypertension, diabetes, cardiac irregularities, and malignant tumors. Stalin emphasized that by making advanced diagnostic technologies and specialized doctors easily accessible in neighborhood community centers, the program prevents minor ailments from developing into severe medical emergencies that incur devastating out-of-pocket financial expenses for poor families.

Stalin concluded that robust preventive healthcare empowers working people to lead dignified, productive lives. He reaffirmed his administration's determination to deliver world-class medical facilities to every household across Tamil Nadu.
