Fulfilling a solemn organizational pledge made during the DMK General Council meeting on June 1, 2025, party president and Chief Minister M.K. Stalin handed over ten lakh rupees in compassionate relief funds to the bereaved family of late party member Mrs. Saritha from Tindivanam - Iraiyanur. Stalin recalled that the party leadership resolved to provide immediate ten lakh rupee financial security grants to families of deceased party workers who tragically lose their lives in road accidents, specifically when their surviving children or heirs are below twenty-one years of age.

Presenting the relief assistance to the grieving family, the Chief Minister extended his deepest sympathies and emphasized that the DMK functions not merely as an electoral apparatus, but as a caring fraternal family committed to protecting its cadre through life's most painful tragedies. Concurrently, Stalin made an earnest public appeal to all party cadres and motorists to strictly obey traffic safety regulations, diligently wear protective helmets, and practice defensive driving to preserve their precious lives and family futures.
