Addressing party members through a heartfelt epistle, DMK president and Chief Minister M.K. Stalin called upon cadres across Tamil Nadu to gather in large numbers at the memorial on the Marina beachfront in Chennai on the memorial anniversary of former Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi. Stalin recalled that Perarignar Anna founded the Dravidian movement with the noble dream that Tamils should bow to no oppressor nor oppress any fellow human being, living everywhere with uncompromised head-high dignity and self-respect.

The Chief Minister highlighted that Kalaignar dedicated his monumental five-term governance to turning Anna's emancipatory vision into concrete institutional reality, establishing the foundational socio-economic infrastructure that elevated the Tamil community. Stalin revered Kalaignar as the guiding role model of the contemporary Dravidian Model government, urging party workers to honor his epic life by engaging in meaningful grassroots welfare services, community outreach, and social reform across every hamlet, street, and household in the state.

Stalin concluded that paying tribute to Kalaignar demands renewed dedication to the principles of social justice, secular federalism, and public welfare. He rallied the cadre to preserve this ideological flame for future generations.
