Presiding over the high-profile TN Rising Investors Conclave held in the coastal port city of Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin formalized significant industrial agreements, overseeing the signing of memoranda of understanding totaling 32,554 crore rupees that are projected to generate over 49,800 employment opportunities across southern districts. The committed industrial investments encompass strategic high-growth manufacturing sectors, including aerospace and defence components, advanced consumer electronics, green energy technologies, and commercial food processing plants.
During the summit, the Chief Minister inaugurated four newly operational industrial facilities established by Pro1Health, Nanda Devi Bio Energy, Britannia Industries, and YEEMAK, bringing an immediate capital infusion of 1,230 crore rupees and creating 3,100 direct manufacturing jobs. Stalin also distributed corporate employment appointment letters to technical students trained under the state's flagship Naan Mudhalvan skill development initiative, facilitating immediate campus placements with premier multinational firms including TATA Power Solar, Infinx, and Pinnacle Infotech.
Stalin affirmed that the Dravidian Model government has transformed southern Tamil Nadu through robust plug-and-play industrial infrastructure. He invited global investors to expand industrial footprints across the state's thriving southern manufacturing corridor.
