Resuming his field visits following a brief recuperation from illness, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin undertook an extensive inspection of his home legislative constituency of Kolathur in Chennai, inaugurating vital public infrastructure and launching fourteen new development projects valued at 17.65 crore rupees. Stalin remarked that returning to serve the residents of Kolathur filled him with revitalized energy and purpose, expressing deep appreciation to the local public for their affectionate greetings and constant goodwill.
Among the completed works dedicated by the Chief Minister were a modern police station at the Kilambakkam Kalaignar Centenary Bus Terminus constructed at a cost of 18.26 crore rupees, and an advanced additional classroom building at the Chennai Girls Higher Secondary School on Market Street in Perambur built at 9.74 crore rupees. Stalin additionally laid foundation stones for a new Deputy Commissioner of Police headquarters in Kolathur, integrated facilities for the Peravallur police station housing cyber crime and traffic units, and an air-conditioned passenger bus shelter at Retteleri.
Stalin concluded that upgrading neighborhood educational, security, and transportation amenities reflects the attentive civic responsiveness of Dravidian Model urban governance across Tamil Nadu.
