Presiding over a formal government appointment ceremony, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin issued recruitment orders to 2,538 newly selected personnel joining the Municipal Administration and Water Supply department. Welcoming the fresh inductees into public service, Stalin highlighted that over the past four years, the Dravidian Model administration has successfully facilitated employment opportunities for nearly ten lakh youth across state government departments, public sector undertakings, and major private industrial enterprises through aggressive recruitment drives and job fairs.
The Chief Minister exhorted the new municipal employees to execute their administrative duties with unswerving dedication, moral integrity, and adherence to the foundational tenets of duty, dignity, and discipline. Stalin reminded them that municipal administration operates at the direct cutting edge of civic life, where efficient public water distribution, sanitation maintenance, and urban infrastructure delivery tangibly impact the daily welfare and health of millions of common urban and peri-urban residents.
Stalin urged the newly appointed personnel to become energetic partners in realizing the developmental objectives of Dravidian Model 2.0. He concluded that honest, compassionate, and transparent public service will accelerate Tamil Nadu's ongoing urban and economic transformation.
