Declaring that land ownership represents real social empowerment, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin distributed free residential house site pattas worth 1,672.52 crore rupees to 20,021 underprivileged beneficiaries. Stalin emphasized that ensuring adequate food and clothing is insufficient for genuine human dignity; families must possess legitimate title deeds to their homesteads to achieve permanent socio-economic security. The Chief Minister detailed that since assuming office, the Dravidian Model administration has granted 17,74,561 housing pattas across the state, fulfilling long-cherished dreams for millions of poor households.

Prior to the patta distribution ceremony, Stalin inaugurated the newly built 400-bed Chengalpattu District Government Headquarters Hospital at Tambaram, constructed at an outlay of 115 crore rupees. The state-of-the-art medical complex features six advanced surgical operation theaters, comprehensive pediatric and maternal care wards, an integrated public health laboratory, and three urban primary health sub-centers designed to serve fast-growing peri-urban populations.

Stalin affirmed that combining extensive land tenure distribution with world-class public healthcare infrastructure exemplifies the transformative governance of the Dravidian Model. He concluded that his administration will persistently uplift vulnerable families through durable welfare assets and quality healthcare facilities.
