Commending the remarkable excellence of Tamil Nadu's public healthcare ecosystem, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin celebrated the state receiving the prestigious Union Government award as India's leading state in deceased organ donation. Stalin congratulated the medical teams from Madras Medical College and Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital for securing special national honors for exceptional care of brain-dead organ donors, observing that Tamil Nadu's pioneering organ transplantation framework continues to inspire the entire country in saving lives through compassionate organ harvesting.
Expanding departmental governance initiatives, the Chief Minister disbursed sixty lakh rupees in educational scholarships to six hundred children of temple priests serving in one-time pooja temples under the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments department, alongside presenting formal appointment orders to twenty-one newly recruited Assistant Commissioners. Concurrently, Stalin inaugurated nine completed fisheries infrastructure projects and issued seventeen compassionate appointment orders across Aavin, Animal Husbandry, and TANUVAS veterinary university.
Stalin concluded that pioneering healthcare leadership, religious employee welfare, and robust coastal infrastructure investments embody the balanced developmental philosophy of the Dravidian Model governance, reaffirming his administration's resolve to uplift diverse communities across Tamil Nadu.
