Presiding over a comprehensive series of governance initiatives, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin virtually inaugurated Chief Minister mini sports stadiums in Pudukkottai, Tirupattur, and Tiruppur districts, a modern district sports complex in Tenkasi, dedicated para-sports grounds across Chennai, Tiruchirappalli, Madurai, Cuddalore, and Tirunelveli, and a high-performance hockey center of excellence in Kovilpatti. Stalin emphasized that expanding decentralized sports infrastructure nurtures athletic talent among rural and marginalized youth, enabling competitive excellence on international platforms.
Expanding industrial investment and regional banking, Stalin oversaw a memorandum of understanding with HIKOKI Power Tools India, a subsidiary of Japan's KOKI Holdings, committing 700 crore rupees to establish an electric power tools manufacturing plant at Mahindra World City creating over one thousand jobs. Concurrently, the Chief Minister inaugurated the newly created Namakkal District Central Cooperative Bank, extending specialized financial credit services to regional farmers and micro-enterprises.
Additionally, Stalin disbursed 4.38 crore rupees in insurance settlements, marriage grants, and higher education assistance to bereaved families of five deceased government employees. He concluded that balanced investments across youth athletics, industrial growth, and social protection define the Dravidian Model.
