Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam president and Chief Minister M.K. Stalin highlighted the profound ideological convergence uniting the Dravidian and Communist movements, declaring that both historic traditions represent two inseparable faces of the noble egalitarian ideal of everything for everyone. Stalin asserted that throughout modern history, both movements have waged relentless, selfless struggles to dismantle feudal exploitation, elevate oppressed working classes, secure agrarian land rights, and institutionalize social justice across Tamil Nadu.

Addressing Communist party cadres and fraternal Left leadership including Communist Party of India (CPI) General Secretary D. Raja, the Chief Minister emphasized that whenever dedicated Communist organizers stand united in the electoral arena, progressive victory is inevitable. Stalin called upon Left comrades to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the Secular Progressive Alliance to safeguard secular democracy, constitutional values, and regional autonomy against right-wing authoritarian dominance.

Stalin concluded that the enduring alliance between the DMK and Left parties is anchored not in transient electoral convenience, but in shared philosophical devotion to working-class dignity, democratic freedoms, and social equality. He urged united mass mobilization to defeat divisive, authoritarian politics in the upcoming 2026 legislative elections.
