Stalin distributed formal loan sanction orders to ex-servicemen to initiate independent commercial enterprises under the landmark Kaakkum Karangal scheme. Stalin recalled that he had announced the formulation of this welfare program during his Independence Day address in 2024, designed specifically to provide credit facilities up to one crore rupees accompanied by an attractive thirty percent state capital investment subsidy for retired defense personnel and their direct legal heirs.
The Chief Minister asserted that brave military veterans risk their lives on hostile frontiers to guarantee the safety, sovereignty, and security of every Indian citizen. Stalin stated that offering institutional financial backing and technical entrepreneurship guidance to facilitate their transition into successful civilian business ownership is an inescapable moral duty, quoting classical Tamil ethical literature to affirm that forgetting gratitude is the gravest failing.
Stalin congratulated the initial cohort of military veteran entrepreneurs, wishing them sustained business growth across diverse manufacturing, retail, and service sectors. He concluded that the Dravidian Model governance will continually expand welfare measures supporting ex-servicemen and their families across Tamil Nadu.
