Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin reviewed the operational performance of the statewide Nalam Kaakkum Stalin comprehensive health camp initiative, noting that the program completed three consecutive weeks of intensive public health outreach conducted every Saturday. Stalin detailed the steadily rising beneficiary metrics across the state, with 44,795 citizens receiving free clinical consultations and diagnostic screenings in the first week, 48,046 individuals in the second week, and 56,245 patients in the third week, totaling over 1.49 lakh beneficiaries.
The Chief Minister emphasized that organizing decentralized, multi-specialty clinical camps directly in rural and semi-urban localities guarantees early detection of chronic conditions, non-communicable diseases, and lifestyle ailments. Stalin noted that patients requiring advanced treatment are immediately linked with tertiary medical institutions under the Chief Minister's Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme, ensuring seamless medical care without financial distress for low-income households.
Stalin affirmed that accessible, proactive clinical intervention remains the hallmark of Dravidian Model public administration. He reiterated his government's steadfast commitment to ensuring that Tamil Nadu maintains its undisputed ranking as India's premier state in universal healthcare delivery, clinical excellence, and preventive community wellness.
