Six strategic wins for Tamil Nadu in London today, powering growth, innovation and future readiness.
Our agreements with Wilson Power and Britannia RFID will boost our renewable energy industry and improve the competitiveness of exporters from Western Tamil Nadu. We also facilitated partnerships with the University of Exeter and Ecole Intuit Lab that will empower our youth with niche capabilities. And, Lloyd’s List Intelligence will undoubtedly boost our initiatives in the shipping and maritime sector.
The icing on the cake was the engagement with Rolls-Royce. We hope to complement its pioneering presence in the aerospace and defence sectors with our heft in manufacturing.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin announced six strategic bilateral agreements finalized during his investment mission in London, characterizing the pacts as major wins that will power industrial innovation, economic growth, and future readiness across the state. Stalin detailed that agreements signed with Wilson Power and Britannia RFID will substantially strengthen Tamil Nadu's renewable energy supply chains and enhance the export competitiveness of manufacturing enterprises situated in western Tamil Nadu clusters.
The mission also forged high-impact academic collaborations with the University of Exeter and creative design institution École Intuit Lab, designed to equip Tamil Nadu youth with specialized skills in emerging technologies and industrial design. In the maritime domain, a strategic partnership with Lloyd's List Intelligence will provide critical analytical data to boost state shipping initiatives and modernize port logistics operations along Tamil Nadu's coastline.
Stalin highlighted an extensive engagement with global aerospace leader Rolls-Royce as the pinnacle of the London visit, expressing optimism that Tamil Nadu's manufacturing prowess will complement Rolls-Royce's aerospace and defense initiatives. The Chief Minister concluded that these diverse partnerships firmly position Tamil Nadu as a premier global hub for advanced engineering.
