During his diplomatic mission to the United Kingdom, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin held high-level bilateral discussions in London with UK Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Indo-Pacific Catherine West to broaden and deepen the comprehensive Tamil Nadu–United Kingdom partnership. Stalin and the British minister examined strategic opportunities for collaborative investment and knowledge sharing across several priority domains, including the green economy transition, higher education exchanges, advanced scientific research, technical youth skilling, and maritime trade connectivity.

The Chief Minister presented Tamil Nadu's established industrial strengths to the British delegation, showcasing the state's leadership in renewable energy generation, electric vehicle manufacturing, information technology services, and precision engineering. Stalin formally invited British companies, research institutions, and academic centers to expand their operational presence in Tamil Nadu, emphasizing that mutual collaboration will accelerate the development of a sustainable, technologically advanced, and future-ready economy.

Stalin concluded that robust international partnerships are essential for achieving the state's ambitious goal of a one-trillion-dollar economy by 2030. He affirmed that Tamil Nadu offers a transparent regulatory environment, exceptional human capital, and dependable modern infrastructure and supportive industrial incentives for global investors.
