Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin presided over the Self-Respect Movement centenary seminar held at Oxford University, releasing two landmark academic volumes documenting the global relevance of Dravidian ideology. Stalin unveiled The Cambridge Companion to Periyar, edited by eminent historian A.R. Venkatachalapathy and scholar K.R. Manoharan, which presents Periyar's radical philosophy to international academia. He also released The Dravidian Pathway, authored by young researcher K.R. Vignesh, detailing how the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam transformed from a grassroots social justice movement into a governing force that redefined Tamil Nadu's development.

Addressing international academics, scholars, and students, Stalin highlighted that Thanthai Periyar achieved unprecedented social transformations without taking up arms or shedding a single drop of blood. He observed that Periyar uniquely witnessed his radical ideological propositions directly enacted into governmental executive orders and statutory legislation under DMK administrations led by C.N. Annadurai, M. Karunanidhi, and the present Dravidian Model government.

Stalin affirmed with resolute conviction that his administration will persistently follow Periyar's egalitarian path, defying regressive orthodoxy. He concluded that the Dravidian Model will continue achieving transformative milestones in public welfare, social emancipation, and democratic governance.
