During his official visit to the United Kingdom, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin participated in a series of culturally and intellectually significant engagements in London, connecting with diaspora youth and honoring Tamil civilizational heritage. Stalin engaged in an extensive interactive dialogue with Indian-origin students and recent graduates at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), discussing the core tenets of the Dravidian Model of governance, inclusive economic progress, and the vital role of youth in shaping India's future.
Following the university engagement, the Chief Minister paid floral tributes at the bronze statue of classical Tamil poet-philosopher Thiruvalluvar and inspected its newly restored commemorative plaque. Stalin emphasized that the universal ethical philosophy embodied in the immortal couplets of the Thirukkural continues to offer timeless moral guidance on statecraft, justice, and human fraternity across modern societies.
Stalin concluded his London itinerary by visiting the PACT exhibition commemorating seventy-five years of the Constitution of India, reflecting on its enduring democratic legacy. The Chief Minister reiterated that defending constitutional rights, secularism, and federal principles remains essential to preserving India's democratic future and safeguarding social equity for all communities.
