Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin paid glowing tributes to equality crusader and anti-caste revolutionary Tyagi Immanuel Sekaranar on his memorial anniversary, honoring his historic sacrifice for social justice and human dignity. Stalin recalled that during his brief lifetime of thirty-two years, Immanuel Sekaranar waged fierce, courageous struggles against entrenched social evils including untouchability, the humiliating two-glass tea-stall system, and institutionalized caste oppression in southern Tamil Nadu.

The Chief Minister observed that though Sekaranar's physical life was cut short, the radiant flame of his memory remains unextinguished, continuing to illuminate the path toward social justice, self-respect, and civil rights for oppressed communities. Stalin affirmed that Sekaranar's fearless resistance against hereditary caste dominance serves as an enduring source of inspiration for democratic movements across the nation.

Stalin reiterated that the Dravidian Model administration is firmly committed to realizing the egalitarian ideals for which Immanuel Sekaranar gave his life. He concluded that honoring the martyr's memory requires continuous societal vigilance to dismantle subtle and overt forms of discrimination, guarantee equal dignity, and foster communal harmony and fraternity across all sections of Tamil society.
