Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin paid emotional tributes to former Chief Minister and Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam founder C.N. Annadurai on his birth anniversary, hailing him as the beloved eldest son gifted by Mother Tamil to protect the state's cultural identity. Stalin recalled that Anna established the DMK not merely as a political party, but as an enduring social movement and protective maternal shield safeguarding the dignity, language, and constitutional rights of Tamil society.
The Chief Minister asserted that the political awakening ignited by Anna elevated Tamil Nadu into a self-respecting, socially progressive society that refused to bow before cultural hegemony or centralized dominance. He reaffirmed the solemn resolve of the Oraniyil Tamil Nadu campaign, declaring that the land and people Anna elevated will never compromise their autonomy or constitutional standing under external pressures.
Stalin concluded that Anna's visionary slogan of duty, dignity, and discipline continues to guide the policy framework of the contemporary Dravidian Model administration. He urged the people of Tamil Nadu and party cadres to honor Anna's supreme legacy by upholding social harmony, federal self-respect, and inclusive economic growth.
