Chief Minister M.K. Stalin led an extensive administrative program in Chennai, inaugurating four new industrial estates developed by the Small Industries Development Corporation (SIDCO) alongside two private industrial parks, an advanced effluent treatment facility, and a specialized common facility center. Expanding industrial infrastructure across tier-two and tier-three regions, Stalin laid foundation stones for workers' hostels, specialized agricultural produce logistics facilities, and comprehensive civic upgrades across eighteen existing industrial estates, while issuing formal appointment letters to newly recruited SIDCO assistant managers.
Demonstrating cross-departmental welfare delivery, the Chief Minister distributed dedicated higher education scholarships on behalf of the Tamil Nadu Waqf Board to economically underprivileged Muslim students pursuing collegiate degrees. Stalin also honored traditional master artisans by presenting the prestigious Living Craft Treasure and Poompuhar State Awards in recognition of excellence in indigenous handicrafts.
The Chief Minister oversaw the signing of a landmark Memorandum of Understanding with the Centre-Val de Loire administrative region of France, establishing structured cultural exchange initiatives and bilateral tourism development frameworks. Stalin affirmed that combining industrial decentralized growth, targeted educational welfare, artisanal preservation, and international cultural collaboration represents the multifaceted governance philosophy driving Tamil Nadu forward.
