Chief Minister M.K. Stalin presided over a multi-sectoral government ceremony in Chennai, distributing state appointment orders and launching essential educational and public safety infrastructure projects across Tamil Nadu. Stalin handed over formal government appointment orders under the three percent sports quota to international chess grandmaster R. Vaishali, international footballer Sumithra, basketball athlete Sathya, and international sailor Chithresh, celebrating their sporting achievements on behalf of the state.
Advancing social welfare infrastructure, the Chief Minister laid foundation stones for eight modern Social Justice Hostels equipped with comprehensive amenities for Backward Classes, Most Backward Classes, and minority students, while dedicating newly constructed classroom blocks and distributing appointment orders to school teachers selected through the Teachers Recruitment Board. He emphasized that secure student accommodations and dedicated teachers form the bedrock of educational equity.
Stalin also dedicated newly constructed police stations, laid the foundation stone for the State Fire Training Academy at Kalavakkam in Chengalpattu district, opened regional fire service offices in Villupuram and Sivagangai, and presented appointment orders to Tamil Development Assistant Directors recruited through the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, bolstering public administrative capabilities across government departments.
