Chief Minister M.K. Stalin announced that the Dravidian Model administration has surpassed its primary employment generation target, creating twelve point five lakh new jobs annually across diverse economic sectors throughout Tamil Nadu. Stalin recalled that during the historic party conference in Tiruchirappalli ahead of the 2021 Assembly elections, he made a solemn pledge to the youth of the state to generate ten lakh employment opportunities every year.

Reviewing empirical employment data, Stalin noted that proactive industrial policies, sustained capital investments, aggressive expansion of micro, small, and medium enterprises, and large-scale public sector recruitments have propelled job creation well beyond the original projection. He pointed out that programs such as Naan Mudhalvan have equipped hundreds of thousands of engineering, polytechnic, and arts students with industry-relevant skills, making them immediately employable in frontier technology and manufacturing industries.

The Chief Minister asserted that expanding sustainable livelihoods represents the most direct measure of inclusive governance and economic resilience. Pledging to accelerate employment generation even further, Stalin concluded that the government will continue attracting high-value domestic and foreign investments to ensure Tamil Nadu remains India's premier destination for youth employment and industrial enterprise.
