Chief Minister M.K. Stalin highlighted the inauguration of the two-day Agri-Business Festival organized by the Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department under Minister M.R.K. Panneerselvam, describing it as an embodiment of the Dravidian Model's commitment to protecting soil ecology and human life. The state exhibition was structured to provide cultivators and agro-entrepreneurs with direct access to advanced farming technologies, financial schemes, and direct retail markets.

The festival featured specialized pavilions introducing various state subsidies, modern irrigation technologies, precision agriculture tools, organic inputs, and specialized value-addition machinery. Visitors and farming delegates had the opportunity to explore interactive demonstration stalls, consult agricultural scientists regarding climate-resilient farming, and sample regional farm innovations at dedicated culinary courts showcasing traditional millet gastronomy.

Stalin urged farmers, rural youth, and urban consumers to participate actively in the exhibition, emphasizing that connecting growers directly to commercial buyers eliminates exploitative intermediaries and maximizes agrarian incomes.
