கரூர் துயரம் குறித்து மாண்பமை உயர்நீதிமன்றம் கூறியுள்ள கருத்துகள், வழிகாட்டுதல்கள் அனைத்தையும் தமிழ்நாடு அரசு மிகத் தீவிரமாக கவனத்தில் கொண்டு செயலாற்றி வருகிறது.
கரூரில் நடந்த துயரத்தால் நாம் அனைவருமே நெஞ்சம் கலங்கிப் போயிருக்கிறோம். தம் அன்புக்குரியோரை இழந்து தவிக்கும் ஒவ்வொரு குடும்பத்தின் கண்ணீரையும் கண்டு தவிக்கிறேன்.
மாண்பமை உயர்நீதிமன்ற உத்தரவின் பேரில் அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ள சிறப்புப் புலனாய்வுக் குழு (SIT) தனது விசாரணையைத் தொடங்கும். இதன் மூலம், முழு உண்மையையும் வெளிக்கொண்டு வருவோம் என்று மாநிலத்தின் முதலமைச்சராக மக்களுக்கு நான் உறுதியளிக்கிறேன். அனைத்து மட்டங்களிலும் பொறுப்பு உறுதிசெய்யப்படும்.
பலவற்றிலும் இந்தியாவுக்கே முன்னோடியான தமிழ்நாடு, கூட்ட நெரிசல் விபத்துகளைத் தவிர்ப்பதிலும் நாட்டுக்கு வழிகாட்டும். மாநிலம் முழுவதும் துறைசார் வல்லுநர்கள், அரசியல் கட்சியினர், செயற்பாட்டாளர்கள், பொதுமக்கள் என அனைவரோடும் கலந்தாலோசித்து ஒரு முழுமையான 'நிலையான வழிகாட்டு நெறிமுறைகளை (SOP) வடிவமைப்போம். தமிழ்நாட்டுக்கு மட்டுமல்ல, ஒட்டுமொத்த இந்தியாவும் பின்பற்றத்தக்க மாடலாக இது அமையும்.
துடைக்க முடியாத இந்தத் துயரச் சம்பவத்தின் பின்னணியில் அரசியல் நோக்கோடு ஒருவரை ஒருவர் குற்றம் சாட்டாமல் ஒரு நீண்டகாலத் தீர்வை நோக்கிப் பயணிப்போம். இந்தக் கூட்டு முயற்சியில் அனைவரது யோசனைகள், ஆலோசனைகளையும் வரவேற்கிறேன். ஒவ்வொரு உயிரும் விலைமதிப்பில்லாதது. நம் மக்களின் இன்னுயிரைக் காக்கவும், இனி இப்படி ஒரு பெருந்துயரம் தமிழ்நாட்டில் மட்டுமல்ல, இந்தியாவில் எங்குமே நிகழாமல் தடுக்கவும் ஒன்றிணைவோம்!

Stalin affirmed that the Tamil Nadu government is actively implementing the directives and judicial observations issued by the Madras High Court regarding the tragic crowd crush incident in Karur. Expressing heartfelt anguish over the loss of lives, Stalin stated that the administration shares the immense sorrow of the grieving families and remains fully committed to uncovering the complete truth surrounding the circumstances that caused the catastrophe.
Stalin announced that an independent Special Investigation Team established pursuant to judicial instructions will commence a thorough inquiry to determine accountability across all organizational levels without compromise. He stressed that beyond fixing administrative responsibility, Tamil Nadu must lead the nation in pioneering rigorous preventative standards to eliminate crowd-related fatalities at mass public gatherings, religious festivals, and political rallies.
The Chief Minister announced that the state will formulate comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures for crowd control in wide consultation with domain experts, political organizations, civic activists, and the general public. He appealed across political divides to avoid partisan recrimination, emphasizing that collaborative policymaking is vital to safeguard human lives and establish a national safety model for mass public gatherings across India.
