Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated the Global Startup Summit 2025 in Coimbatore, declaring that embedding social justice within the startup ecosystem defines the core philosophy of the Dravidian Model administration. Stalin emphasized that state enterprise policy actively integrates women entrepreneurs, Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe founders, and rural innovators, connecting regional talent directly to global venture capital and international markets.
Stalin explained that the state's vision of achieving a one-trillion-dollar economy does not rely solely on capital-intensive mega corporations. Instead, sustainable growth requires a balanced ecosystem where large manufacturing projects operate alongside dynamic micro, small, and medium enterprises and innovative technology startups. The summit in Coimbatore brought together international investors, regional founders, and technology incubators to accelerate regional innovation and job creation.
The Chief Minister affirmed that Tamil Nadu's supportive startup policies, incubation grants, and specialized funding channels have made the state an attractive destination for emerging founders. He concluded that democratizing access to business capital ensures economic growth benefits all sections of society, reinforcing Tamil Nadu's stature as a progressive global hub of inclusive technological advancement and commercial dynamism.
