Chief Minister M.K. Stalin laid the foundation stone for an advanced five-storey Gold Jewellery Park at the Kurichi SIDCO Industrial Estate in Coimbatore, marking a major milestone for the region's traditional jewellery manufacturing sector. The specialized industrial park will provide modern production units, hallmarking centers, secure vaults, and shared design facilities to help local artisans and manufacturers scale their enterprises safely and efficiently.

Stalin highlighted the comprehensive infrastructure modernization underway in Coimbatore under the Dravidian Model administration. He cited the development of key urban projects including the modern Periyar Library, the expansive Semmozhi Poonga botanical park, and a state-of-the-art international cricket stadium designed to elevate the city's commercial and recreational stature.

The Chief Minister noted that the gold jewellery cluster in Coimbatore accounts for a substantial share of national exports and domestic supply, employing thousands of skilled craftsmen. He affirmed that establishing dedicated industrial parks under SIDCO ensures micro and small enterprises gain access to shared technological resources and institutional financing. Stalin concluded that strategic industrial investments will keep Coimbatore thriving as Tamil Nadu's industrial and manufacturing powerhouse for decades to come.
