முத்தமிழை வளர்க்கும் கலைகளை மூச்செனக் காப்போம்! அதன்வழியே தமிழர் எனும் நம் இன அடையாளத்தையும், சுயமரியாதையையும் காப்போம்! #KalaiMamaniAwards https://t.co/NUmfet8C0S

Chief Minister M.K. Stalin presided over the prestigious Kalaimamani Awards ceremony, conferring the state's highest artistic honors on celebrated performers, writers, and cultural practitioners. Stalin stated that the Kalaimamani awards represent the collective gratitude of the people of Tamil Nadu, honoring individuals who have dedicated their lives to enriching traditional literature, music, dance, theater, and cinema with creative excellence.
Emphasizing the civilizational importance of creative arts, Stalin declared that preserving the disciplines of Muthamizh—encompassing literature, music, and dramatic arts—must be treated with the urgency of breath itself. He affirmed that nurturing traditional artistic forms is directly tied to safeguarding the Tamil community's distinct cultural identity, linguistic pride, and historical self-respect.
The Chief Minister commended the veteran awardees for their lifelong dedication to artistic craftsmanship and for mentoring younger generations of creative talent. He noted that the Dravidian movement has always recognized cultural expression as a vital medium for social enlightenment and rationalist awakening. Stalin reiterated that the state government will continuously support artists through welfare assistance, transparent award selections, and institutional patronage to keep regional artistic heritage vibrant, inclusive, and enduring.
