Commemorating the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin paid glowing tributes to the celebrated scientist and former President of India. Stalin described Kalam as an extraordinary visionary who demonstrated through his own life that dedication to education and scientific inquiry can conquer any adversity, elevating individuals from humble backgrounds to the pinnacle of global and national accomplishment.
The Chief Minister urged Tamil Nadu's students to make full use of the extensive higher education initiatives introduced under the Dravidian Model administration. Programs such as free undergraduate education, state scholarships, world-class university research labs, and international fellowship opportunities are explicitly designed to ensure no talented student is left behind due to financial constraints. Stalin emphasized that when young scholars apply their learning toward scientific innovation, technological sovereignty, and indigenous self-reliance, they offer the highest and most meaningful tribute to Kalam's legacy.
Stalin affirmed that his administration remains profoundly committed to fostering scientific temper, critical thinking, and research excellence among youth. He called upon students across Tamil Nadu to emulate Kalam's patriotism, humility, and relentless quest for knowledge in building a prosperous India.
