Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin called on the Vice-President of India, C.P. Radhakrishnan, during an official visit to the historic city of Madurai. The meeting was marked by warm cordiality, reflecting mutual respect between constitutional dignitaries representing state and national governance. Stalin lauded the Vice-President as a distinguished son of Tamil soil who ascended from humble beginnings to occupy one of the highest constitutional offices in the Republic of India.
Stalin expressed great personal and regional pride in seeing a Tamilian discharge high national responsibilities with statesmanship and integrity. He affirmed that the Vice-President's deep wisdom, extensive administrative experience, and abiding dedication to public service will continually bring honor to Tamil Nadu as well as the broader Indian Union. The leaders discussed matters concerning regional development, federal cooperation, and initiatives aimed at fostering economic prosperity across southern districts.
Reaffirming the state's constructive approach toward national institutions, Stalin emphasized that healthy dialogues between constitutional authorities strengthen democratic conventions. He wished the Vice-President enduring success in upholding parliamentary traditions, advancing public welfare, and serving the nation with impartial constitutional grace and dedication.
