Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated a wide array of public infrastructure initiatives across Tamil Nadu, laying the foundation stone for a 118-acre grand eco-park in Guindy estimated at 233.15 crore rupees. The urban eco-park project will provide Chennai with extensive green lungs, bio-diversity conservation zones, and sustainable recreational spaces for city residents.
Demonstrating comprehensive regional development, Stalin opened completed highways projects totaling 1,177.15 crore rupees across Erode, Thiruvarur, Mayiladuthurai, Thanjavur, Tiruvallur, Tirunelveli, Ariyalur, and Madurai districts. He dedicated two major road overbridges in Vellore built for 71.09 crore rupees, successfully eliminating hazardous railway level crossings to facilitate smoother vehicular transit. Strengthening emergency medical response across rural and urban centers, the Chief Minister flagged off 87 newly inducted '108' ambulance vehicles equipped with modern life-support gear.
Addressing long-standing community aspirations, Stalin distributed government orders allocating municipal land parcels for public burial grounds and kabristans for Christian and Muslim communities. He concluded the administrative drive by handing over formal appointment orders to candidates selected through the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission for the Tamil Nadu Housing Board and Town and Country Planning Directorate.
