Chief Minister M.K. Stalin headlined a busy day of multi-departmental governance initiatives, beginning with the grand unveiling of the FIH Hockey Men's Junior World Cup 2025 trophy. Building on the acclaimed success of the Hero Asian Champions Trophy 2023, Stalin announced that Tamil Nadu will host the prestigious 24-nation world cup tournament across world-class stadiums in Chennai and Madurai, solidifying the state's status as India's premier international sporting hub.
Expanding decentralized economic opportunities, Stalin virtually inaugurated newly constructed Mini TIDEL IT Parks in Vellore and Rasipuram (Namakkal district), ensuring educated youth in western and northern districts access top-tier software careers near home. He also inaugurated the modernized and upgraded Government Hospital in Tiruchengode, delivering advanced inpatient healthcare facilities for local industrial and rural families.
Additionally, the Chief Minister handed enhanced stipend bank drafts to students attending traditional temple training institutions run by the HR&CE Department. Stalin reaffirmed that comprehensive development under the Dravidian Model balances global sporting leadership, decentralized industrial growth, robust public healthcare, and equitable cultural patronage across every region of Tamil Nadu.
He emphasized that sporting excellence and regional IT parks together create unmatched opportunities for youth across Tamil Nadu.
