Chief Minister M.K. Stalin flagged off eighty specialized 'Pink Patrol' police vehicles to bolster women's safety across Tamil Nadu, noting that the state leads India in female higher education enrollment and formal workforce participation. The mobile patrol units, equipped with advanced communication gear and dedicated female personnel, will maintain round-the-clock vigilance near colleges, transit stations, and workplaces to prevent harassment and ensure immediate response.

Stalin also inaugurated the newly built 61.74-crore-rupee road flyover in Satchiyapuram, Virudhunagar, officially naming the civic landmark after martyr Sankaralinganar, who sacrificed his life through an indefinite hunger strike demanding that the state be named Tamil Nadu. During the event, the Chief Minister handed appointment orders to newly recruited Junior Drafting Officers in the Highways Department selected through TNPSC examinations.

Additionally, Stalin disbursed financial assistance to 525 traditional folk artists through the Tamil Nadu Eyal Isai Nataka Manram and issued housing allotment orders to temple staff.
