Greeting children across Tamil Nadu on Children's Day, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin underscored his administration's maternal care and progressive vision embodied in the 'Tamil Nadu State Policy for Children 2021.' Stalin addressed young learners directly, promising that his government will stand by them at every step of their journey, catching them if they stumble and celebrating every personal triumph they achieve.
Stalin emphasized that state policies are purposefully crafted to nurture children into broad-minded, rational, and intellectually fearless global citizens. Flagship interventions like nutritional breakfast programs in elementary schools, STEM laboratories, and free bus transport ensure that socioeconomic hurdles never prevent a single child from attending class or pursuing higher aspirations.
The Chief Minister urged children to embrace curiosity, scientific temper, and universal empathy, rejecting superstition and narrow prejudices as they grow. Reaffirming his role as a protective guardian of the state's youth, Stalin pledged that Tamil Nadu will remain an inspiring haven where every child's voice is valued, their creative talents are cultivated, and their fundamental rights are safeguarded by state power.
He concluded that empowering youth with scientific temper and social awareness guarantees the nation's democratic future.
