Editorial context

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin announced the completion and reopening of the renovated Ambattur Thozhirpettai bus terminus, part of ongoing development work in North Chennai. The terminus was originally opened in 1967 by former Chief Minister Kalaignar M. Karunanidhi. Stalin said he laid the foundation stone for its renovation in March of the previous year, and that the upgraded facility was inaugurated by Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin. He credited Minister P.K. Sekarbabu and the Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority (CMDA) for completing the work quickly. Stalin framed the project as part of a broader North Chennai development push that has included hospitals, breakfast/nutrition centres, housing, and new bus terminals, describing it as ensuring balanced growth across both northern and southern parts of Chennai under his government's 'Dravidian Model' of administration.

This is an initiative of unofficial DMK and Dravidian Ideology supporter, a fan of Thanthai Periyar, Perarignar Anna and Kalaignar — not affiliated with any official DMK party or persons.
