Stalin added that protecting citizens' right to vote from the risks posed by the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls is now the most pressing priority. He named three entities he characterized as obstacles: the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which he accused of betraying Tamil Nadu; the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK), which he accused of lacking the courage even to make demands; and the Governor, whom he accused of demeaning Tamil people. He said as long as these three persist, his government's task remains straightforward.
