M.K. Stalin recounted personal visits he made to the homes of veteran Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) party workers. He first visited the family of the late J.K.K. Sundaram, a former member of the party's property protection committee in the western region of Tamil Nadu, where he was warmly received by Sundaram's wife Rajammal and son J.K.K.S. Manickam, the committee's current member. He then visited veteran party orator Viduthalai Virumbi to inquire about his health, during which Virumbi reportedly asked Stalin about the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process and raised concerns about its implications for the democratic right to vote. Stalin reflected that spending time with elders who reminisce brings comfort and rejuvenation to both parties. While framed as a personal and nostalgic account of party outreach, the tweet notes a substantive concern raised about voter rolls and the SIR exercise.
