On the occasion of Overseas Tamils' Day, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin sent greetings to Tamils living abroad, describing them as people who carried their dreams across seas and lands and who have brought pride to the Tamil community through education and hard work in foreign countries. He said his government's 'Sollunga Kanavu' (Tell Us Your Dream) initiative, run under the banner of the Dravidian Model government, had invited overseas Tamils to share their aspirations, and that many had responded. Stalin said the government would work to realise those dreams. The tweet combines a festival-style greeting to the diaspora with a reference to an ongoing government outreach initiative soliciting citizen input, which is why it is treated as containing substantive content rather than being purely ceremonial.
