Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin summarized a day of multiple government activities under the state's 'Dravidian Model' governance branding. He opened a four-lane road bridge built by Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) on the Rajiv Gandhi Salai (OMR) at Okkiyam Maduvu for public use, and laid the foundation stone for an integrated multi-modal transport and commercial complex at the existing Mandaiveli bus depot and terminus. He launched the Registration Department's STAR 3.0 initiative, comprising 18 services including paperless document registration and automated deed generation. He also laid the foundation stone for a seawater desalination project at Mullakadu to meet water needs of Thoothukudi's SIPCOT industrial estate and surrounding areas. Additional activities included granting overseas postgraduate education scholarships to 10 minority students under the BC, MBC and Minorities Welfare Department, distributing grant cheques for renovating ancient churches, opening new Animal Husbandry Department buildings, and issuing appointment orders to candidates selected through the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC).
