M.K. Stalin said his reply to the debate on the motion of thanks for the Governor's address effectively became a five-year achievement report for his government, addressed to Governor R.N. Ravi. He said any disagreement the Governor had with Tamil Nadu being called 'Number 1' should be raised with the Union Government, since the data cited came from Union government sources.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin said that his reply to the Assembly debate on the motion thanking the Governor for his customary address had, in effect, become a detailed explanation addressed to the Governor himself, as well as a report card of his government's five years in office. Stalin noted that if Governor R.N. Ravi disagreed with the state government's assertion, made in the Governor's own address, that Tamil Nadu ranks 'Number 1' among Indian states, the Governor should raise the matter with the Union Government, since the statistics cited were themselves sourced from Union government data. Stalin added that the DMK-led government had achieved the targets it set in 2021 when it first came to power, and expressed confidence that it would win again in the 2026 elections. The tweet was shared under the party's recurring #DravidianModel campaign hashtag.
