#LanguageMartyrsDay #StopHindiImposition

Marking Language Martyrs Tribute Day, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin issued a statement reaffirming that Hindi has no place in Tamil Nadu, framing the day as a commemoration of those who died protesting Hindi imposition in the state. He described Tamil Nadu as a state that has repeatedly and forcefully resisted attempts to impose Hindi, and credited the language agitation with protecting the rights and identity of various linguistic and ethnic communities across the Indian subcontinent. Stalin expressed gratitude toward the language martyrs who gave their lives for the Tamil language and vowed that the state's linguistic consciousness would not fade, declaring continued opposition to Hindi imposition. The statement does not reference any new policy action, but restates the DMK's longstanding ideological position on language rights.
