Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin announced the completion of 10,000 'UngaludanStalin' public grievance redress camps, which he said resolved a total of 28.87 lakh petitions from citizens. Speaking at the programme's closing event in Thindivanam, where welfare assistance was distributed to beneficiaries, Stalin traced the initiative's history: before coming to power, his party held meetings in all 234 assembly constituencies to collect public petitions; within the first 100 days of taking office, a newly created department resolved 4,57,645 of these petitions. The government then ran 4,835 'Makkaludan Mudhalvar' (Chief Minister with the People) camps, resolving 23.5 lakh petitions, before scaling up further to the 10,000 UngaludanStalin camps. Stalin also noted that a WhatsApp chatbot named 'NammaArasu' (Our Government) for accessing government services was introduced the previous month, and pledged continued efforts to address citizens' needs.
