இந்தியாவில் முதன்முறையாக மே-1 உழைப்பாளர் நாளைச் செவ்வண்ணக் கொடியேற்றிக் கொண்டாடி, தொழிலாளர் நலனுக்காகத் தம் வாழ்வையே அர்ப்பணித்த சிங்காரவேலரின் புகழைத் தொடர்ந்து போற்றுவோம்! இனி வரும் தலைமுறைகளுக்குப் பாடமாகச் சொல்வோம்!
Paying reverent homage to freedom fighter and pioneer of the Indian communist movement, Ma. Singaravelar, on his birth anniversary, M.K. Stalin celebrated the iconic leader known as "Chintanai Sirpi" (Architect of Thought). Singaravelar organized India’s first May Day celebration on the sands of Chennai's Marina beach in 1923, raising the red flag for workers' rights.
Stalin highlighted Singaravelar’s unique role in harmonizing Marxist labor philosophy with Periyar’s Self-Respect Movement, recognizing that dismantling caste oppression is essential to achieve true working-class liberation. The DMK government honored his memory by naming major administrative complexes after him and preserving his literary works. Stalin reaffirmed that the party will always defend labor dignity and working-class solidarity.
