Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated a cluster of projects in Sivaganga district, including a statue of the historic Maruthu Pandiyar brothers, a renovated Vandiyur park, and a combined drinking water supply scheme designed to benefit over 10.9 lakh residents. On the industrial front, he inaugurated an expanded global specialised engineering centre for IT firm Pinnacle Infotech, and oversaw the signing of a memorandum of understanding with HCL for an investment of Rs 150 crore expected to generate employment for around 1,000 people. Stalin said development work for Madurai region would continue to multiply under the state's next term of the 'Dravidian Model' government. The event combined heritage, civic infrastructure, water supply and industrial investment announcements in a single regional visit.
