Paying tribute to Perasiriyar K. Anbazhagan, the venerable general secretary who guided the DMK for over four decades, M.K. Stalin hailed him as an eternal ideological guide ("கொள்கைப் பேரொளி"). Whenever the Dravidian movement faced political turmoil, legal assaults, or internal crises, Perasiriyar’s moral authority and ideological steadfastness held the party together.

Stalin emphasized that Perasiriyar was not merely a political organizer, but an exceptional scholar whose mastery of Tamil literature and constitutional theory enriched the Dravidian discourse. Under Stalin’s leadership, the government honored Perasiriyar’s centenary by naming school modernization packages and university libraries after him. Stalin pledged that the DMK will always walk in the disciplined, principled footsteps laid down by the beloved Perasiriyar.
