Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin held a felicitation event for 60 candidates from the state who cleared this year's UPSC Civil Services Examination, urging them to carry Tamil Nadu's social justice perspective across the country. He recalled that former Chief Minister and DMK leader Kalaignar M. Karunanidhi had secured permission for civil services examinations to be written in state and regional languages, and said his government has continued to raise concerns about issues in UPSC exam outcomes affecting social justice. Stalin said that, noting a decline in success rates among Tamil Nadu students, his government introduced the Naan Mudhalvan scheme, offering advanced coaching and incentives, which he credited for a continuing rise in the number of successful candidates from the state. He congratulated all 60 candidates who qualified this year and said he expects the number to keep rising, pledging continued support to help more students achieve similar success.
