Campaigning in Tiruchi, M.K. Stalin listed DMK-led development projects delivered to the district under the 'Dravidian Model' and predicted AIADMK leader Edappadi Palaniswami would suffer an 11th defeat. He criticised AIADMK leader referred to as Palanisamy, accusing him of having effectively 'rented out' the AIADMK to the BJP and offering only empty rhetoric, predicting this would be his 11th electoral defeat. Stalin said Tiruchi, which he called a permanent DMK stronghold, would confirm this status through the 2026 election results. He predicted a repeat of the secular progressive alliance's complete victory in Tiruchi achieved in the 2021 Tamil Nadu Assembly election, describing it as a certain repeat performance for what he called 'Dravidian Model 2.0'.
