Speaking in Sankarankovil, M.K. Stalin said there is no room for a three-language policy in Tamil Nadu, a classical Tamil-speaking state, and challenged the Union Education Minister to declare on Tamil Nadu soil that the NDA would implement it if voted to power. He also questioned whether Palaniswami and AIADMK would confront the BJP or remain controlled by 'Delhi'.

At an election campaign meeting in Sankarankovil, DMK President and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin declared that Tamil Nadu, a state that speaks a classical language, has no place for a three-language policy. He said he had challenged the Union Education Minister to visit Tamil Nadu and openly declare that an NDA government would enforce a three-language policy in the state's schools, saying he was eager, along with the people of Tamil Nadu, to see if any BJP leader had the courage to make such a declaration. Stalin further asked whether AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami would confront those in Delhi who arrogantly push the three-language policy, and questioned whether AIADMK, which he described as being remote-controlled from Delhi, has any real regard for Tamil identity. He asserted that Tamil Nadu would not fall again for what he called a directionless alliance, invoking the 'Dravidian Model 2.0' as DMK's alternative. The tweet is framed within DMK's broader campaign opposition to central language policy and its criticism of AIADMK's alliance with the BJP.
