Connecting with coastal fishing communities across Puducherry under #PuducherryWithDMK, M.K. Stalin addressed the acute vulnerabilities faced by artisanal fishermen. He promised to extend the full spectrum of Tamil Nadu’s maritime welfare benefits—including enhanced fuel subsidies, mechanized net grants, and lean-period subsistence allowances—to Puducherry’s fisherfolk.

Stalin detailed plans to modernize fishing harbors at Thengaithittu and construct modern sea walls to protect coastal villages from severe coastal erosion. Fisherfolk leaders praised Stalin’s attentive understanding of maritime challenges, expressing deep confidence that the DMK alliance will champion their community's prosperity. The gathering pledged their enthusiastic support to the rising sun.
