In Tamil, M.K. Stalin called for anti-Delimitation resistance to spread across Tamil Nadu, comparing it to the earlier anti-Hindi imposition movement that he says burned through Delhi until it yielded. He said he had burned a copy of the 'black law' to ignite renewed resistance against what he called the BJP's arrogance.

DMK president M.K. Stalin posted a Tamil-language statement calling for protest against Delimitation to 'spread like fire' across Tamil Nadu and to bring down the 'arrogance' of what he termed the 'fascist' BJP. He recalled that the anti-Hindi imposition movement which began in Tamil Nadu had once 'scorched' Delhi, and said that fire only subsided after the central government yielded. He stated he had lit another such fire by burning a copy of what he called a 'black law' - the Delimitation Bill - which he said sought to turn Tamils into refugees in their own land. He closed with lines from a Tamil poem describing Tamil identity as an enduring flame, and predicted the protest would spread across the 'Dravidian land' and suppress the BJP's arrogance. The post continues the DMK's campaign-period opposition to the delimitation process.
